Do Bevora floors look like real hardwood?

Bevora WaterProof Floors (WPF) feature an embossed texture, which mimics the grain of real wood flooring.

Is Bevora Flooring Safe for use in sensitive environments?

We take Safety at Bevora very seriously, and all our products have been subject to a rigorous testing process. Bevora Floors are VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) Free and is certified safe for use around Children and Older people as well. This means our products can be installed in Schools and Medical Facilities as well.

Does Temperature and Humidity affect Bevora flooring?

Bevora Floors are structurally solid and resistant to change in shape due to extreme Temperature changes under normal everyday use. They remain absolutely flat regardless of humidity content and can easily resist expansion despite changes in atmospheric pressure.

Can Bevora Floors be used in environments with Wheelchairs and Motorized Chairs?

Bevora floors can be used in homes or medical facilities where wheelchairs and motorized chairs are used. For use on entry and exit ramps though, we recommend gluing the joints together for additional structural rigidity.

Why is cork used in one of the layers in Bevora WaterProof Flooring (WPF)?

Cork is used as an additional backing layer, especially useful for its excellent sound absorbent properties. The Cork layer also makes Bevora Floors superior to laminate flooring and significantly quieter.

Are Bevora Floors recyclable?

Bevora Floors are 100% recyclable and cause no lasting damage to the environment. With the proper equipment, all our materials can be reused in diverse variety of supported manufacturing processes.

Do we need to remove existing flooring to install Bevora WaterProof Floors (WPF)?

Bevora Floors can be easily installed over all existing hard surface flooring, including tiles and any other surface that meets level requirements. Bevora floors cannot be installed over non-rigid surfaces like carpets or sheet vinyl and laminate flooring.

Can I install Bevora Floors in Bathrooms and Kitchens?

Bevora’s Floors can be installed in any room, including the Bathroom and Kitchen. In addition to 100% waterproofing, all Bevora floors are slip resistant, Fire Retardant, Termite Resistant, Impact and Abrasion Resistant, Stain Resistant and Non-Expansive.

Can Bevora Floors be installed in large rooms without using transition strips?

Bevora Floors can be installed freely over areas of up to 3600 sq. ft. (400 sq. m.) without transition strips, as long as the flooring has space to move freely. That’s bigger than most average rooms.

Do I need to install mouldings for each door opening?

Un-aesthetic door mouldings do not need to be installed over Bevora Floors as long as you remain within the limit beyond which transition strips are required.

Do Bevora Floors require any underlayment or moisture barrier?

Bevora Floors use a naturally hypoallergenic cork layer that provides extra rigidity and class leading sound absorption that makes the use of any underlayment unnecessary and redundant. Our floors are also 100% Waterproof once installed, and will remain moisture free as long as the lower installation layer is dry when the flooring is being installed.

Do I need to wax my Bevora Floors or carry out any maintenance related tasks after installation?

All Bevora products are stain resistant and do not require any specific maintenance under regular use. You do not need to wax or clean your floors using any special detergents or solutions.

How do I remove challenging stains from my floor?

Use lukewarm water and cleaners that are non-abrasive for stains like those of chocolate, grease, juice and wine. You can also remove nail polish stains, tar soot, permanent markers, crayon drawings, lipstick marks, ink blots and cigarette burns as well using nail polish remover or denatured alcohol.
